Alexandra Kouliaveta

Psychologist

Alexandra Kouliaveta is the Psychologist serving the Technical University of Crete, working within the framework of the project “Support of the Equal Accessibility Unit for People with Disabilities at the Technical University of Crete”.


Her role focuses on providing counselling and psychological support to students and community members, with a primary specialization in issues concerning Persons with Disabilities and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Her main objective is to ensure equal academic participation and promote the psychosocial well-being of the students.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Crete and a bachelor’s degree from the Department of Preschool Education at the University of Ioannina. She is currently training in the Systemic Psychotherapy Approach and is pursuing her postgraduate studies in Applied Developmental Psychology.

Her professional experience includes working in Special Therapy centers and providing support to individuals with disabilities, as well as scientific collaboration with the University Mental Health Research Institute (UMHRI). Her dedication is further reinforced by her voluntary participation in student counselling programs and the provision of Psychological First Aid.
