Angelos Marinakis
As part of the project “Support of the Equal Accessibility Unit for People with Disabilities at the Technical University of Crete”, he works in the field of Informatics and is involved with web-related tasks, website development, and applications that are accessible to people with disabilities.
He was born in Chania in 1995. He graduated from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the Technical University of Crete in 2018. He received his PhD in October 2023 from the School of Production Engineering and Management of the Technical University of Crete, with a research focus on the simulation of gear-cutting processes.
He has worked as a laboratory assistant at the Technical University of Crete in the courses “Technical Design of Electromechanical Installations” and “Mechanical Drawing”, as well as research staff in the projects “Support of social welfare interventions for students of the Technical University of Crete” and “Serious Game for Computer Aided Manufacturing”. He has many years of experience in developing desktop applications, websites, and mobile applications.
