Ariadni Pantidou graduated from the Chemistry Department of the University of Crete-GREECE in 1992, and received her MSc in organic chemistry at 1994 from the same University.


From 1995 to 1996 she took part in a research program in Synthetic Organic Chemistry at the University of Portsmouth-UK. At 1996 until 1997 she did a research work at the Bacteriology-Microbiology Research Lab of the Faculty of Medicine of University of Crete. From 1998 until now she is working at the lab of Biochemical Engineering and Environmental Biotechnology (BEEB) of Chemistry and Environmental Engineering School of the Technical University of Crete. She is teaching laboratory lessons of general, organic, analytical chemistry and biochemical processes at the undergraduated students af the school. She also worked in several research projects of the BEEB lab as a researcher or as a technical assistant in the field of novel biotechnological processes for environmental protection, of quality assessment and remediation of contaminated sites and marine environments and of environmental sample analysis and/or bioremediation or phytoremediation process design & monitoring. She has experience in structures for people with disabilities, as a member of ELEPAP from 2012 to 2022 and also took part as a companion of athletes with disabilities at Special Olympics Greece at 2022 and 2024.
