The Equal Accessibility Unit for Persons with Disabilities and Persons with Special Educational Needs of the Technical University of Crete, in collaboration with the Directorate of Academic Affairs, extends an open invitation to all students who wish to actively participate in volunteer activities, thereby contributing meaningfully to ensuring the equal participation of their fellow students with disabilities and special educational needs in the academic and social life of the Institution.
The volunteering activities within the framework of this initiative include:
Supporting students with disabilities and/or special educational needs in their adaptation to the academic environment.
Facilitating their equal participation in courses, laboratories, and educational activities.
Providing assistance with access to educational materials and support services.
The activities of the volunteers will be carried out in collaboration with the Equal Access Unit, with the aim of providing organized, meaningful, and responsible support, while respecting the autonomy and dignity of the beneficiary students.
