Medical Center
The Technical University of Crete Medical Center, in collaboration with the Equal Accessibility Unit, provides health monitoring and health promotion services for students with disabilities and/or special educational needs. The aim is to ensure the physical and mental well-being of students so that they can participate equally and without barriers in academic life. The staff provides personalized support with respect, confidentiality, and discretion, while also contributing to raising awareness and informing the entire academic community about health and prevention issues.
As part of the program, the Medical Center:
• Provides health counseling and support services to students with disabilities and/or special educational needs.
• Develops and produces informational materials (brochures, posters) and organizes information events on health, prevention, and management-related topics.
