Sofia Papadimitriou is a Nurse specializing in cardiovascular diseases working in the monitoring and promotion of the health of individuals with disabilities and/or special educational needs, as well as in the training and awareness-raising of the academic community on health issues, within the framework of the project "Support of the Unit for Equal Access for People with Disabilities of the Technical University of Crete."

She is a graduate of the Department of Nursing at the University of West Attica and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies (MSc) at the School of Medicine of the University of Crete, with a thesis titled "Exercise and Exercise-Based Rehabilitation for Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases." She has clinical experience in the Cardiology Clinic of the University Hospital of Heraklion, where she has worked both as a nursing trainee and as a substitute cardiovascular nurse, as well as clinical experience in the Emergency Department, ICU, and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit of PAGNI.
